Senior Copywriter Needed

Can I get personal for a moment?

I think we've known each other long enough for me to tell you this. Sometimes, while I am at work, I sigh. Audibly. Often there are accompanying gestures for emphasis.

Yes, I have a jar full of sugar-based happiness on my desk, and yes my model DeLorean from 'Back to the Future' does fill my life with unbridled joy and the admiration of my coworkers, however... there is something missing.



Yes, that is a Mr Fusion on the back.

Basically, what I am missing is a collaborator. A senior one to be exact. The thing is, I have a tendency to waffle on. I need someone on the team who can say "Kate!" (My name is Kate, I probably should have mentioned that), "Kate! Please edit out all the references to classic science fiction adventure film 'Back to the Future' at once." ... and so on.

Employment Branding Coordinator Needed

We're looking for another Employment Branding Coordinator to join our team.

If you know what Coordination is then you are off to a good start. But, what is Employment Branding? Good question. I like your hustle.


Employment Branding defines the reality of an organisation and presents it to potential employees, highlighting areas of interest and appeal.
So, it's like marketing for a company.

Our Co-ords facilitate this marketing on many levels.

Say for example a client calls and says they have a position in Tokyo for a puppeteer with a high level of skill in Microsoft Excel. What questions would you ask? How would you go about finding this person? Where would you advertise? I'm sorry for all the questions, but this is the kind of stuff you'll need to think about. LOOK OUT BEHIND YOU! ... sorry about that too, but there will also be surprises. And sometimes yelling.


Does the puppeteer need the Excel skills, or the puppet? Hm?

Team EB


Any member of TeamEB (not pictured) will tell you that they are the lifeblood of our company. While this may not be "factually accurate", they all have words to this effect tattooed on various parts of their bodies now, so it's not something we can debate without tears and/or the baring of flesh.




The people in TeamEB are represented by two separate yet equally important groups: the Creatives, who produce words, pictures and technologies; and the Co-ords who possess the media expertise to best utilise their work. They also have the authority to hide sugar-based products from the Creatives, should they start collecting crisps that look like Elvis. Again.

The Creatives

Our Creative Team comprises writers, graphic designers and web developers. Oh, and there is a guy who sits in the corner and doesn't say much. We're not sure what he does but he sometimes works weekends.

Actually, it's possible that he is a squatter.

So what do the Creative Team do? Well, we produce Employment Branding materials. This can take many forms, including:

  • Print ads
  • Posters
  • Animations
  • Web sites
  • Radio ads
  • Multimedia presentations
  • Hosted events
  • Short films
  • Scooter billboards

That's just to give you a quick overview. Basically, if we can think of it we can make it. Once we made a pinata for a client. Unfortunately, after naming it, we were unable to part with him. Carlisle is now a team mascot.










The Co-ords

The Co-ords are a highly disciplined team of media experts.

The other day, when I walked up to a Co-ord's desk to ask her if she'd seen that You Tube clip of the surprised kitten she actually did an impression of the surprised kitten. While she did not find the whole situation as amusing as I did, it just goes to show you how engrossed in their work our Co-ords really are.



So, what is their work? Well, I just asked one of them and apparently it's a loud sigh, followed by these words:
  • Media planning
  • Execution of advertising strategies
  • Relationship management with 3rd party suppliers
What I gather from this is that The Co-ords are like the mediators, communicating with advertising agencies, clients and The Creatives to develop and implement media campaigns.
